# Pagination

> Page through list endpoints with cursors.

List endpoints return one page of results with a cursor for the next page:

```json theme={null}
{
  "data": [{ "id": "..." }],
  "nextCursor": "eyJpZCI6..."
}
```

| Parameter | Description |
| - | - |
| `limit` | Maximum number of items to return, from 1 to 250. Defaults to 50. |
| `cursor` | The `nextCursor` from the previous page. Omit it for the first page. |

To fetch the next page, send the same request again with `cursor` set to the previous response's `nextCursor`. Keep the other filters and the sort the same. When `nextCursor` is `null`, you've reached the last page.

```bash theme={null}
curl "https://api.parley.so/v1/projects?limit=100&cursor=$NEXT_CURSOR" \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $PARLEY_API_KEY"
```

Cursors are opaque. Don't parse or build them yourself.
