The Outlook Add-In puts the Parley Agent beside your mail, so client correspondence can become casework without a round trip through the browser.

Installing the add-in

Install it from inside Outlook itself rather than from the Microsoft Store.
1

Open Outlook

Open Outlook on your desktop or on the web.
2

Go to Add-ins

On the Home tab, select Add-ins. In some versions this appears as Get Add-ins, or under the menu on an open message.
3

Find Parley

Search for Parley and select Add.
4

Open the Parley pane and sign in with the same account you use at app.parley.so.
If your firm centrally manages Office add-ins, your IT admin may need to approve Parley before it appears. Point them at [email protected] if they have questions.

What you can do from a message

  • Draft a reply using the case behind the thread, not just the text of the message.
  • File correspondence to a matter, so the exchange lands on the right Project, Account, or Contact.
  • Pull out what matters — ask what the client actually committed to, or what you still owe them.
  • Update case records from what the message contains, without opening Parley.
Longer threads and longer drafts draw more credits. See How credits work.

The add-in and inbox sync

The add-in is for acting on a message in front of you. Email and calendar sync is the background process that keeps your cases and correspondence aligned whether or not you open the pane. Most firms run both: sync so the record stays current on its own, and the add-in for the moments you want to do something with the message you’re reading.
