Installing the add-in
Install it from inside Word itself rather than from the Microsoft Store.1
Open Word
Open Microsoft Word on your desktop, with any document open or a blank one.

Go to Add-ins
On the Home tab, select Add-ins. Depending on your version of Word, this may appear under Insert → Add-ins.

Find Parley
Choose More Add-ins, search for Parley, and select Add.

Sign in
Open the Parley pane and sign in with the same account you use at app.parley.so. Your firm’s Projects and Skills come with you.
If your firm centrally manages Office add-ins, your IT admin may need to approve Parley before it appears in the list. Point them at [email protected] if they have questions.
Word-level redlines
When the Agent revises your draft, it marks up only the language that changed. Instead of striking a whole paragraph and replacing it, you see the specific words that moved — the way a colleague’s edits would look. That means you can read the reasoning in the change itself, accept and reject edit by edit, and keep your own sentences where you want them.Working with a Project
Add a Project as context and the Agent drafts from the case’s evidence, Notes, and shared memory rather than only what’s on the page. Click anywhere on a Project row to open it, and use the add context button to attach one. With a Project attached, you can ask for the things that need the case behind them:- Revise a section to match the argument in the petition
- Tighten language while preserving defined terms used elsewhere in the filing
- Pull a fact from the evidence and cite the exhibit it came from
